The VideoPoster- IV, an industrial network media player has been updated using our latest hardware technology the Artista-IoT, which now includes the added benefit of Wi-Fi access via a WLAN network. The VideoPoster-IV now supports Raspberry Pi’s official WLAN USB adapter.  When the adaptor is plugged into the USB port the media player can easily connect to Wi-Fi via the web interface. This makes the whole process of data and software uploads easier and more efficient, as previously uploads could only be added via the Ethernet or USB. 

By adding a network connection you open up a whole host of other features for the VideoPoster-IV.  Benefits of a network connection include synchronising the time via NTP and full access to the web interface used to configure the media player or any playlist uploads. The Wi-Fi connection is advantageous in that it can eliminate the need for a LAN connection, with the ability to connect to the network via WLAN.
