We are happy to announce that on 28th September 2018, Components Bureau (CBL) and Display Solutions (DSL) were acquired by Display Technology (DTL), the UK subsidiary of Fortec Elektronik AG, a public listed company in Germany with a turnover of €80,000,000.
Both Components Bureau and Display Solutions will continue to operate from Osprey House, Huntingdon under the their founder Cheng M Yoe who will work closely with Richard Murton (DTL Managing Director) and Bernhard Staller (COO Fortec Elektronik AG) to bring the DTL and DSL together creating a synergy of products and strengthen the group’s position in the UK market.
Display Solutions will benefit from Fortec’s Distec’s technical expertise in services such as optical bonding, with the Artista and Prisma range of boards and the large inventory of displays providing an ex-stock delivery for many products, whilst Components Bureau will look to expand their Precision range of wound components in Europe.
