PrismaII and PrismaMEDIA with Power Saving Function |

Our high-performance converter boards Prisma III (VGA/DVI/Video) and PrismaMEDIA (VGA/DVI/Video/HDMI) feature a power saving function, which reduces power consumption significantly. If the boards do not receive a signal for a certain period of time, they go to a sleep mode and send a signal to the power supply unit, which then enters the sleep mode as well. This may lead to saving up to 95% of energy.

Our controller boards are basically optimized to use a very low amount of power. Our ArtistaNET-board, which perfectly fits for applications with static images like digital doorplates, posters and welcome boards, typically needs less that 3W. The network-player board ArtistaMEDIA, suitable for video playback in information- or POS-terminals, has a power consumption of typically less than 6W. Moreover an ON/OFF-sequence can be implemented on both controller boards via service program on Windows XP. Switching the controller board on and off at a certain time can save you a considerable amount of energy. |

Ambient Light Sensor |

The Ambient Light sensor can be ordered as an option to our Prisma III, PrismaMEDIA and ARCB-Boards. Due to an intelligent control algorithm the brightness of the TFT backlight is automatically adjusted to the ambient lighting conditions. In our part of the world power consumption can thus be reduced by up to 50%.

Motion Sensor |

For our Prisma III and PrismaMEDIA boards as well as our network controller boardsArtistaNET and ArtistaMEDIA a motion sensor is optionally available. This can be used as an active energy control, for example at kiosk terminals, where the brightness of the TFT panel can be dimmed to a minimum as long as there is no user nearby. This can save you up to 50% of energy depending on location and time of use. |

Transflective TFTs |

We offer transflective TFT Displays sized 6,5“- 32,0“. Transflective foils do not only improve sunlight readability but also the brightness of the display, because they reflect the ambient light and use it as additional lighting to the CCFL or LED backlight. In bright environments the TFT backlight can therefore be dimmed and the power consumption decreases nearly straight proportional to the reduced brightness.

LED Backlight |

Wir provide an increasing number of TFT displays with LED backlight. Besides the lower energy consumption of only approx. 10 - 20% compared to CCFL backlight versions (with same brightness) a further advantage is that LEDs are mercury-free and thus eco-friendly.
