The Firestorm GUI is a serial controller for TFT and STN/CSTN displays, developed by our sister company Apollo USA. Firestorm is an intelligent human-machine-interface, which provides visual feedback and user input functions via an connected display and/or touch screen.

The Firestorm GUI is a green IT low power device, dramatically reducing the end customer's cost of ownership compared to the traditional SBC designs. Typically the Firestorm draws only 1 Watts (board only).
It can also operate at a wider temperature range of -30 to +80°C, more suited for the industrial LCDs we sell.

This controller ist fast and has on-board image compression with frame buffers used for full creen animations, slide shows, fast menuing in control applications etc.
Super fast system initialization (almost instant on). The board boots within 1 second.

Optional:
- Programmable GPIO lines to control external devices and/or activate functions.
- Motion sensor function
