Since we want to keep offering you state of the art technology in LAN controllers, we added the ArtistaNET III - Digital Picture Player (local slide shows with internet-update function) to the very successful ArtistaNET II for Digital Posters.
The ArtistaNET III is compatible in function to our ArtistaNET II, but equipped with a much more powerful yet energy-efficient RISC CPU (1,2 GHz) and offers high performance at only 3-4W power consumption!
Performance ArtistaNET III - Digital Picture Player:
 512MB on-board for local storage of slide shows
extendable via additional SD-card slot
Slide show in native resolution (without scaling, thus providing perfect image quality)
Project oriented functions available (e.g. different fadings, audio via USB, etc.)
Of course we offer all our innovatiive software solutions for ArtistaNET III as well:
WIN respectively C#/COM Object - and Linux SDK, driver, Artista Display Printer and ArtistaControlCenter.

ArtistaNET LAN Controller are only available in connection with a TFT display since control cards and controller boards for TFT displays must be adjusted or configured to the TFT display.
General Product Philosophy:
ArtistaNET was developed as Entry-Level-Product to realise cost efficient Ethernet-Clients. Target was, to eliminate all the disadvantages of WIN ClientPCs (expensive, time consuming installation, high power consumption, necessity of SW-updates, permanent administration)and to provide an energy saving, environmentally sound solution (green IT). It was no intention to implement video capability (for video see ArtistaMEDIA)
